2019年に Processing Community Day (PCD) を企画したとき、自分のアーティストとしてのエゴを殺して息を潜め、裏方としてなるべく参加者全員が楽しめるようなイベントをできればと考えていた。その頃自分はアーティストとしてジェネラティブな映像を作ったりダンスとメディア・アートを組み合わせた自分だけの作品ができると考えていたのだが、ある意味古いモデルだということも自覚していてそれが必ずしもこれからの Processing コミュニティにそぐうものだとは思っていなかったからだ。とはいえ「新しい風を吹き込む」意味で PCD では多くの若手アーティストにワークショップ講師をお願いしたり、ライトニング・トークでは教育者の立場や学生(兼社長)の目線からのお話があったり多様な発表者から応募をいただいた。
